Description
A journey through the origins of Granada and Flamenco in an Albaicin & Sacromonte Tour in two must-see neighborhoods.
Discover the origins of Granada by touring its two most famous neighborhoods, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Albaicin (Qasabat Garnata), which is located on the hill opposite the Alhambra and represents the site of the first settlement of the city of Granada.
The Sacromonte is a hill opposite the Alhambra and next to the Albaicin neighborhood, is known for the Casas-Cueva de los Gitanos, which inhabit them since the fifteenth century, but above all for the Flamenco and the Zambra.
What is going to happen in this tour will never be repeated in your life, a unique opportunity to remember unforgettable moments during the whole itinerary accompanied by a Heritage guide.
Stroll through the impressive Albaicin neighborhood, famous for its Palaces and Carmenes of the Arab period, narrow cobbled streets, its fountains and its cisterns run by the water of ancient irrigation ditches, the warmth and joy of its people, the sound of a flamenco guitar in its squares, its popular tapas bars, its restaurants and its famous viewpoints of San Miguel and San Nicolas, where you can appreciate the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
Then, without stopping, we will arrive at Sacromonte, known for its caves. The celebrations of song and dance to the sound of clapping and guitars are indispensable in them. These are full of charm, mystery and magic, its streets full of slopes and bends, its viewpoints overlooking the Alhambra, its landscapes of rugged beauty and the art of its people make this neighborhood as the Albaicin, a must for the traveler.
