CIRCUIT ITINERARY
The V.D.O. circuit “Travel with Denomination of Origin”, is designed to satisfy all the requests of a good traveller, it is flexible and allows departures from any point of Andalusia and Spain. In our QUOTE REQUEST form we offer the possibility of modifying any itinerary (we make circuits from 9 to 22 days for the Axares Premium Tour) and add more days of stay and other services if you wish.
Arrival in Cordoba, warm welcome, check-in at the chosen accommodation and presentation of the programme by the person in charge.
Transfer for a private guided tour of the palatine city and the archaeological site of Medina Azahara and its interpretation centre.
Return for lunch in a restaurant in the historic centre.
In the early afternoon, private guided visit to the Mosque-Cathedral, a monument that fuses several architectural styles, followed by a visit to the Guadamecí Museum.
Free time for shopping or relax. Free evening with recommendations for dinner in the surroundings of the accommodation.
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Úbeda for a private guided tour of its squares and monumental streets such as the Sacra Capilla del Salvador, the Hospital de Santiago and the Palacio de las Cadenas.
Then transfer to Baeza for a private guided tour of the Cathedral, Plaza del Pópulo and the Palace of Jabalquinto. Afterwards, a lunch menu in a local restaurant followed by a visit to an olive oil mill with an olive grove for an olive oil tasting session.
At the end of the experience, transfer to Granada for a warm welcome and check-in at the chosen accommodation. Free evening with recommendations for dinner in the surroundings of the accommodation.
Breakfast and private guided tour of the famous monumental complex of the Alhambra, we will visit the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, the Palaces and Gardens of the Generalife, the Palace of Charles V and the Museums of the Alhambra and Angel Barrios, we will also visit a workshop of Taracea.
Free lunch with recommendations in the surroundings of the Alhambra forest. At the end, return to the accommodation for rest.
In the afternoon, transfer for a guided visit to the Albaicín neighbourhood where we will know the origin of the city of Granada, a tour through its streets, squares and viewpoints that have magical and impressive sunsets.
Afterwards, a Zambra-Flamenco show experience in a cave in Sacromonte. At the end, free evening with recommendations for dinner in the surroundings.
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Antequera for a private guided tour to see the remains of the Neolithic period in the Dolmens of Antequera. This archaeological site is made up of three prehistoric megalithic monuments such as Menga, Viera and Romeral.
Afterwards, a visit to the city of Antequera where we will see the Alcazaba and the Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María. At the end, transfer to Setenil de las Bodegas for a walk through its spectacular streets and lunch in one of its restaurants.
In the afternoon, transfer to Jerez de la Frontera, a warm welcome and check-in at the chosen accommodation. Free evening with recommendations for dinner in the surroundings of the accommodation.v
Breakfast and transfer to enjoy a ballet show and equestrian choreographies performed by Andalusian horses in a 19th century palace. Afterwards we will go to a Jerez winery for a private visit with wine tasting and wine pairing.
Free lunch with recommendations for the historical centre. In the afternoon, free time for shopping or relax.
Evening with dinner menu and Flamenco show in a Tabanco which are sanctuaries with a lot of tradition since the XVII century and where you will find in the same place the tradition and the art of our land.
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the Doñana Park in Huelva for a private guided tour and to discover ecosystems with a unique biodiversity in Europe, lagoons, marshes, scrubland, Mediterranean scrubland and mobile and fixed dunes of great natural value.
A 4×4 vehicle tour where we will visit the pine forests of Coto del Rey, the cork oak groves of Matasgordas, the marshes of Hinojos and the José A. Valverde visitor centre. Afterwards, a “rociero” lunch in a restaurant in the village of El Rocío with a privileged view of the Hermitage.
At the end, a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village and its surroundings. In the afternoon, transfer to Seville for a warm welcome and check-in at the chosen accommodation. Free evening with recommendations for dinner in the surroundings of the accommodation.
Breakfast and transfer for a private guided visit to two World Heritage Sites such as the Real Alcázar and the Cathedral-Giralda, an essential visit to learn about the Al-Andalus, Renaissance and Baroque periods in Seville. At the end, a guided Tapas Tour for lunch in the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood.
Free time for shopping or relaxing. In the evening, a private guided tour of the Triana neighbourhood with a Flamenco show in a famous Tablao, followed by dinner with recommendations in the surroundings of the Guadalquivir river.
Breakfast and private guided horse-drawn carriage ride through the Plaza de España, the Maria Luisa Park, the Torre del Oro and the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza where you will be able to capture images of Seville’s unusual beauty.

ABOUT THE WALKING TOUR
- Itinerary of the Circuit: route created exclusively around the historic center of Cordoba, historic center of Ubeda and Baeza in the province of Jaen and neighborhoods and center of Granada, Dolmens and city center of Antequera, Setenil de las Bodegas and historic center of Jerez in Cadiz, Doñana Natural Park in Huelva and historic center of Seville.
- Access to the monuments without queues and respecting the security distances.
- Digital or printed tickets to access the monuments.
- Circuit recommended for all ages.
- Altitude sea level: Cordoba 106 meters, Baeza 769 meters, Ubeda 748 meters, Granada 780 meters, Jerez de la Frontera 56 meters, Huelva 80 meters, Seville 7 meters.
- Distance: 4 – 8 kilometers per day.
- Recommendations: comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing for the Circuit (Winter – Summer).
VISITOR RECEPTION
–Meeting point: at the accommodation or the place agreed in advance with the client. The tickets are provided by the official guide who accompanies you throughout the Circuit and will be given to you before entering the monuments and sites.
–Our guide will carry a DOOR TO DOOR TRAVEL sign for you to recognise at the start and throughout the tour.
ACCESIBILITY TO THE ROUTE
A) Baby strollers: we recommend the use of a baby carrier, due to the characteristics of some sections of the route, where it is very difficult to use a baby stroller.
B) Wheelchairs and other elements of reduced mobility: the tour is not fully conditioned so that people with mobility problems can enjoy it freely due to numerous stairs and cobblestones. Please let us know before your arrival if you are a wheelchair user so that we can give you options and adapt the tour to suit your needs.
C) DOOR TO DOOR TRAVEL reserves the right to alter and modify the route and order of the visits and experiences for organizational reasons.

TICKET RESERVATIONS AND CIRCUIT REGULATIONS
- The full name, surname and ID or passport number of each participant must be provided at the TIME OF APPLICATION. It is important to carry your ID or PASSPORT (physical or digital) at all times during the Tour.
- DOOR TO DOOR GRANADA TRAVEL is not responsible for the LOSS of the TICKET and the visitor’s NOT ADMISSION to the monuments and sites for not carrying the identification documentation in case of being required by the staff or authorized persons in charge.
- I declare under my responsibility that I have the identity documentation DNI / Passport in order for the realization of these Circuits in Spain.
